The type of amino acid chelates(Lithium Ascorbate、IronGlycinate、Zinc Glycinate


Chelates can be divided into three types according to their function:

(1) Chelates with the function of transporting and storing metal elements. The metal element in this chelate has no function by itself, or can it change or modify the ligands in its presence, before the metal chelate can be absorbed and transported in the blood, through the cell membrane, to transport the metal ions and deposit them where the body needs them.belonging to this class of chelators are EDTA, amino acids, especially cysteine and histidine.

(2) Chelates involved in metabolism.This class of chelates is present in animals with their structural features. The presence of metal ions in chelates is essential for the metabolic function of this class of chelators. These chelates include hemoglobin and cytochrome oxidase (iron is a chelated metal), vitamin B12 (cobalt is the chelated metal), and so on. The presence of iron in hemoglobin ensures the transport of oxygen in the blood.

(3) Chelates that are not conducive to the absorption and utilization of metal elements, such as phosphorus phytate, zinc phytate, calcium oxalate, etc. Such chelates hinder the normal metabolic function of metal elements and reduce the utilization rate of metal elements. However, according to the raw materials of chelators, trace amino acid chelators can be divided into two categories:

(1)Non-specific amino acid chelates.

(2) Specific amino acid chelates. The chelator of this chelate is special amino acids, such as methionine, lysine, glycine, etc. The molar ratio of the reactant, the pH value and the time of the chelate can be strictly controlled, so the chemical structure and performance of the product are relatively stable. The molar ratio of amino acids and trace elements is mainly 2:1 and 1:1.
